Dr. Berhane attended medical school at Addis Abba University in Ethiopia and subsequently journeyed to Washington, D.C. to complete her internship and residency at Howard University. She completed her training as a critical care medicine fellow at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She is affiliated with the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD.

PERSONAL LIFE

Dr. Berhane has strong ties to Silver Spring, MD, having lived and practiced in the area for most of her professional career. Outside of work, she enjoys staying involved in her local community through volunteering, mentoring her medical peers, and motivational speaking engagements.

WOW!!!! I really don't have the words to express my OUTSTANDING experience with Dr. B and her STAFF. Everyone from the front desk to the operating room truly cares (it's the ENERGY for me!!). I am 5 weeks post-op (tummy tuck/lipo 360) and I feel great. At about 2 weeks post-op I had swelling in my feet (my fault for sneaking a piece of fried fish) and Dr. B called me right away after leaving a message and had me come in to check on me, which turned out to be nothing at all. I recommend Jubilee to anyone who is ready to treat themselves to a new journey. I LOVE MY BODY.....this HOT 44 year old momma is ready to for the summer to begin!

Dr. Berhane, her entire staff from start to finish were great, very friendly and helpful staff. I had a procedure done on August 30th and was very nervous. My medical assistant Soba was simply the sweetest person and as she prepared me set the atmospheric with praise and worship music. This meant so much to me as a believer and right then I knew I was in the right hands of a amazing care team. Dr. Berhane proceeded into the room and before anything we all held hands a prayed before she began my procedure. Dr. B. Listens and is very honest and realistic with you as far has desired outcomes, and did a great job with me from start to finish. She emotionally, spiritually, and physically connected with me as a patient which supercedes any medical experience, I've had in my life thus far. Thank you Dr. B and the entire Jubilee staff❤ I'm 2 days post-op and follow-up calls and chcek-ups from nurse has been consistent. Can't wait to see my final results. Dr. Berhane and the staff at Jubilee Cosmetic Surgery are awesome. Lydia the nurse at Jubilee Cosmetic Surgery was there whenever I needed her regardless of what it was. Friendly, excellent customer service. Dr.Berhane gave me back the look that I had before I had kids. I would recommend her the prices are so much less than any other Cosmetic surgeon I went to for an consult.
